FROM MICHIGAN

Michael was born and raised in Michigan. His earliest memories involved dancing and listening to songs by Otis Redding, Frankie Lymon, The Temptations and Prince, and he often had to move to different places. "Growing up was not always easy," he promises you. In high school, he was a drummer in the band "Now or Never." He would often join dance competitions & had taught kids how to dance later in life. Michael began writing, singing, rapping, and making music since he was 14 years old. His very first recorded song was inside a closet using a Guitar Hero Mic. His greatest influences are Prince, The Weeknd, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and his family.

In 2010, Michael worked as an extra/production assistant for the movie What If  directed by Dallas Jenkins and as a production assistant in Johnny directed by D. David Morin. In 2013, he played as Forward in Silver Bells directed by Harold Cronk. In 2015, Michael joined the U.S. Navy. As he travels around the world, he writes and creates music that share pieces of his light and dark experiences.

During his free time, he enjoys creating concept EP and album covers. When he's not working on his music, he's helping other people with their music by providing feedback and advice through SoundBetter.

Michael had previously went by the artist name "Q The Music." In 2018, he had released his first three singles: "Stay," "Lost," and "No Love." The following year, Michael released an EP that include his latest song: "Mine,"  along with an official music video. In 2020, he released three singles: "Empty," "Enough" featuring ThaWavee along with an official music video, and "Lust & Pain." In 2021, he released the single "Pray for Me." Michael's latest release in 2022, while still under the name Q The Music, is called "What's Love Got to Do With It." With the rebranding to "Michael Q Trucks", as of April 2022, he hopes that people are able to receive accurate search results of all his work experiences and his music will be discovered by more people.
